 • Benefits Administration
 • Maintain all required insurance
 • Process Billing
 • Negotiate contracts with all MCO plans
 • Maintain appropriate centralized technological systems for subcontractors
 • Obtain and retain up to date Service Authorizations
 • Retaining all applicable FI Records
 • Create policies to ensure compliance
 • Compliance and Audits (Internal/External), Fraud, Waste & Abuse oversight, EVV oversight, PA compliance
 • Review and approve all marketing materials of Collaborating Partners
 • Reporting to Plans/DOH/NYS required information
 • Retain legal counsel and attend hearings
 • Assignment of new Consumers to Collaborating Partners – Consumers will have choice of Collaborating Partner selection.

What tasks will Collaborating Partners do?

 • PA enrollment and orientation
 • PA Annual Compliance (i-9, medicals, and training videos)
 • Consumer Intake & Enrollment
 • Assist with ensuring time and attendance – EVV, timesheet entry
 • Monitor consumer/DR’s continued ability to direct services
 • Implement and assist with Best Practices – Peer Mentoring, etc.

Question 3

What will Collaborating Partners be paid?

Accepted Answer

While it is too early to determine exact rates, our goal is to pass through to Collaborating Partners the administrative portion of payments after basic operational costs.
Collaborating Partners will have the option to finance the Lead FI’s payroll. Collaborating Partners that don't provide financing will receive a reduced rate commensurate with current loan rates.

Question 4

How to join as a Collaborating Partners?

Accepted Answer

In order to join as a Collaborating Partner, the Collaborating Partner must agree to the following:
1. Submit the “CDPAP Care” Coalition Collaborating Partner Info sheet, and attachment C.
2. Submit a minimum of 3 letters of recommendation from your existing consumers.
3. Abide by the compliance rules as set forth by the CDPAP Care Coalition.
Please note, that once a Lead FI is approved the DOH will need to approve all new Collaborating Partners. The time to join, is now!
